Don't Make This Mistake: it adds years to your age! Makes you look 10 years older

Aging is among the natural processes of life.

Although it is not possible to prevent aging, it is possible to prevent looking old.

Some mistakes we make without realizing it add years to our age.

If you don't want to look bigger than you are, you should stay away from the mistakes below.

The care, make-up and hair styles we apply to our skin can provide us with a completely different look

If you don't want to stand out from people your age, there are simple mistakes you should never make.

These mistakes make you look quite old. Makeup Artist Brandi Boulet shared the steps you should avoid while applying makeup.

STAY AWAY FROM DARK LIPSTICK IF YOU HAVE WRINKLES

You may be too quick to switch to darker colors for your eyes and lips.

Make-up Artist Mandie Brice says, "When winter comes, it can be tempting to switch to darker colors to match the season. But if you have a lot of wrinkles, wearing particularly dark lipstick can exacerbate the problem because wrinkles make an uneven lip line even more pronounced."

DO NOT USE THE PRODUCTS YOU USE IN THE SUMMER

Boulet warns you not to change your foundation and concealer color to match your skin tone in the winter. “Many people continue to use the foundation and concealer tones they have been using all summer, but most people tend to change tones during the winter months.

This makes the makeup look like a mask.

You will see a stark difference between the color of the face and neck.

The best solution is to use different products for winter and summer.

"So you have two colors that match your skin throughout the season, and you can occasionally mix them to match your skin."

RECOVER THE SHINE YOU LOSE IN WINTER

When choosing your facial products, it's also important not to forget to add warmth back to your skin. "Another makeup mistake I see is not 'warming' your face," Boulet said. “Many people tend to lose their summer glow during the winter months. This can cause it to appear pale or ashy. "Make sure to warm your face with a tanning wipe or some bronzer. This will bring back some of that summer glow we all love," she said.

NOT SETTING UP YOUR SKIN CARE ROUTINE CAUSES BAD-LOOKING SKIN

The biggest mistake you can make is your skincare routine, which has nothing to do with makeup but instead. "The biggest mistake I see people make is not adjusting their skincare routines to accommodate the cold, dry winter months. Our skin can look dry and dull when we don't adjust our skincare routine," Boulet said. "This can make makeup look patchy and cling to dry spots, making it look more cake-like than it should," the artist added. Take care of your skin by adding extra moisture. This will prevent your glam look from becoming dull, dry.

STAY AWAY FROM POWDERS

There is a product that can make you look older, especially in the winter months, and should be used sparingly.

Makeup Artist Krysta Lewis says, "In the summer, we shy away from wearing makeup, but as soon as the cold weather comes we feel the need to cover our 'pale' with layers of makeup and more specifically powders.

This is not a great decision as our skin is much drier than normal during these cold months, so Using too much powder can make our skin look dull and accentuate dry, dead skin cells on the surface."
