How much will the blue tick fee be on Instagram and Facebook?

Mark Zuckerberg announced that Meta Verified, a subscription service similar to Twitter Blue, on Facebook and Instagram will begin rolling out in a few days. Meta Verified has also been the subject of rumors after code additions to the Instagram application before.

HOW MUCH WILL THE BLUE TIC COST?

Meta Verified will cost $11.99 per month on the web or $14.99 for iPhone users.

WHAT WILL BE THE PRIVILEGES?

Meta says the subscription will give paying users a blue badge, their posts more visibility, protection against copycats, and easier access to customer service.

Key features of the product include that it will allow Meta to more effectively find and remove any fake accounts. You will also have a blue tick symbol appearing next to your name and direct access to customer support. In other words, you will be promoted to a kind of "priority user" position.

There are a few additional benefits to give service subscribers, including access to special stickers for use in Stories and Reels.

It looks like Meta is taking this much more seriously than Twitter's Blue subscription plan, which has cluttered up since late last year. But for now, we also know that businesses can't apply for a verification badge yet.

Additionally, if you want to change your profile name, username, birthday or profile photo after verification, you will have to go through the verification process all over again.

HOW WILL IT AFFECT EXISTING BLUE TICKET USERS?

According to the BBC's report, Meta said the change would not affect previously verified accounts, but noted that there would be an increase in the visibility of some small users verified through the paid feature. Allowing paying users to access blue ticks has previously created problems for other social media platforms.
