The top of the world's 'richest people' list has changed hands: 6 out of 10 names are from the same industry

According to Bloomberg, the head of companies including Tesla and Twitter, Musk currently has a net worth of $ 187 billion. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Musk has surpassed LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault, whose fortune is $182 billion.
Bernard Arnault, the head of French luxury goods giant LVMH (LVMHF), hit the top last year, surpassing Musk, as Tesla shares fell in December. According to historical data from Yahoo Finance, Tesla stock price hit $108.10 on January 3, 2023. Shares of the automaker closed at $207.63 on Monday.
Musk seems to have had a better 2023 so far after the twitter acquisition process. Musk was previously the richest person in the world at the time, surpassing Amazon founder Jeff Bezos in 2021. The Musk, Arnault and Bezos trio periodically swap places at the top of the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
