Peasant’s Quest is an immersive open-world game set in a medieval fantasy world where you play as a young farm boy on a quest for adventure. The game offers rich interactions with various creatures and characters, all within a beautifully crafted 2D environment built on the RPG Maker MV engine, with 3D cutscenes rendered using DAZ Studio.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through The Temple of Qetesh quest, including how to find the map, solve the treasure chamber color puzzle, and obtain the Qetesh chalice.
After completing the Witch Trouble quest, return to Ziva and initiate a conversation. When you select the “Worship Qetesh” dialogue option, Ziva reveals the existence of a ruined Qetesh temple near Weirdwood. She believes it still holds one of the Qetesh chalices, which she can use to create more advanced potions and teach you new rituals. Ziva suggests that acquiring a map could help in locating the temple and hints that you might find one in the home of someone wealthy in Weirdwood.
Head to the Mayor’s house in Weirdwood and locate the map on the wall in the central room. Click on the panel below and to the left of the map to “steal” it. Once you have the map, return to Ziva. She will pinpoint the temple’s location in a narrow valley southwest of Weirdwood and ask you to accompany her there.
Before heading to the temple, ensure Ziva is equipped for the journey. If you have extra coins, stop by the blacksmith to purchase armor and a Quarter Staff for her. If not, you can kill some goblins in The Forgotten Valley to gather enough resources for upgrades. Once prepared, travel south from Weirdwood to The Forgotten Valley.
Upon reaching the valley, Ziva will confirm that you’re on the right path. Proceed west through the valley, facing off against Goblins and Armored Goblins along the way. At the far western end, you’ll find the entrance to the temple. Tip: Save your progress before entering the temple!
At the temple entrance, you’ll encounter Grug, a formidable giant guarding the temple. You have two choices: negotiate with him or engage in battle. Negotiating leads to a scene with Ziva and Grug, but if you choose to fight, prepare for a tough battle. Grug has 150 HP and can deal significant damage. Keep Ziva on healing duty and aim for critical hits to defeat him. If successful, you’ll earn 70 XP and 50 coins. If you prefer, negotiate and then reload to try the battle later.
Puzzle Room 1: To cross the room safely, step on the tiles in the following order: white, yellow, red, green, blue, and black. This pattern mirrors the sequence in the entrance room’s circular design.
Puzzle Room 2: Light all the braziers by stepping on the squares in this order: Start with the Black square in the upper left, move to the White square in the lower left, then the Yellow square above it, the Red square across, Green square, Blue square, and finally back to the Black square in the upper right. Complete the sequence by returning to the middle and then stepping on the White square in the lower right.
Once the puzzles are solved, you can safely retrieve the chalice.
After collecting the chalice, return to Ziva’s house for a cutscene and new potion recipes. Before parting ways, consider taking back any equipment you gave her. Afterward, head back to Weirdwood to rest, upgrade your weapons, and continue your adventure.
