To unlock level 2 locks in Hogwarts Legacy, you must upgrade the Alohomora spell to level 2. To do this, you need to locate 9 Demiguise Statues in 9 different locations. These locations include:

South Hogwarts Region – Lower Hogsfield Demiguise Statue.

Hogwarts Valley – Brocburrow Demiguise Statue.

Hogsmeade Valley – Upper Hogsfield Demiguise Statue.

North Ford Bog – Pitt-Upon-Ford Demiguise Statue.

Feldcroft Region – Irondale Demiguise Statue.

Hogwarts – The South Wing Demiguise Statue.

Hogwarts – The Great Hall Demiguise Statue.

Hogwarts – The Library Annex – Divination Classroom.
Once you have found all 9 Demiguise Statues, head to Gladwin Moon and talk to him. Select the option “I actually have some moons for you” and the Alohomora spell will be upgraded to level 2.
How to open level 2 locks in Hogwarts Legacy
To open level 2 locks in the game, you need to follow these steps:

Rotate the outer circle until a green glow appears on the bottom right gears.

Then, rotate the inner circle until a red glow is seen on the middle gears.

Maintain the position of the circles until the lock is picked.

Turn the outer circle until the bottom right gears start to rotate and emit a green glow.

Rotate the inner circle until the middle gears start to rotate and emit a red glow.

Keep the circles in position until the lock is successfully picked.
The objective is to make the mechanism appear symmetrical in order to pick the lock successfully.
